I started reading this book a few years ago and stopped, it was too heavy. But now that I feel like I've read everything and nothing is surprising… this book came to me just in time! 💥
It's not a typical love story, it's mature (both the writing and the plot itself), the writing was elegant and the story felt so real – I felt like I was peeping to real people's lives. ❤️

I loved that because it felt so real, I couldn't guess how it would end. Will they get a happy ending or will it end in tragedy? It made me feel those "hair-pulling" moments I felt when I read "The Opportunist" (by Tarryn Fisher) and "A Love Letter to Whiskey" (by Kandi Steiner) about an epic missed love. ❤️❤️❤️
📚 "I want to share every sunrise and every sunset and every second in between with you. I want your laughter and your breath and your blood and your bones. You’re the one thing that centres my soul. I may circle the whole world, but you’ll always be home, Beetroot." 📚
What I didn't like was that towards the end, the plot was too slow. Plus, the last episode wasn't realistic. It was too sweet, unlike the hole vibe of the book. And just saying… I didn't understand the choice of the name of the book. I was waiting for the punch, but the book only had one love letter… and 53 chapters, lol 😂🤷♀️
All in all, if you want to read a different (in the best way), mature, and unique multicultural love story, I highly recommend it.

העלילה משתרעת על פני 3 עשורים ומספרת סיפור של אהבה אסורה, נאמנות, תשוקה, בגידה והתקווה לאושר וגאולה. 🙏

התחלתי לקרוא את הספר הזה לפני כמה שנים והפסקתי, הוא היה לי כבד מידי. עכשיו, כשאני מרגישה כאילו כבר "קראתי הכל" ושום דבר לא מחדש… הספר הזה הגיע בדיוק בזמן! 💥
זה לא סיפור אהבה טיפוסי… הוא בוגר (גם הכתיבה וגם העלילה עצמה), הכתיבה אלגנטית והסיפור הרגיש כל כך אמיתי – הרגשתי כמו מציצנית לחיים של אנשים אמיתיים. ❤️

אהבתי שבגלל שהוא הרגיש כל כך אמיתי, עד סופו לא יכולתי לנחש איך הוא ייגמר. האם הגיבורים יקבלו סוף טוב או שהוא ייגמר בטרגדיה? הוא עורר בי את אותם רגעי "משיכת שיערות" שחשתי כשקראתי את "תחמנית" (טרין פישר) וגם "מכתב אהבה לוויסקי" (קנדי סטיינר) על אהבה אפית שהוחמצה. ❤️❤️❤️

מה שפחות אהבתי הוא שלקראת הסוף העלילה הייתה איטית מידי והפרק האחרון לא היה הכי מציאותי ויותר מידי מתוק, מה שלא התאים לוויב הכללי של הסיפור. ובלי קשר…. לא הבנתי את הבחירה בשם הספר. חיכיתי לפאנצ', אבל בספר הופיע רק מכתב אהבה אחד… ויש בספר 53 פרקים חחח 😂🤷♀️
לסיכום, אם בא לכן לקרוא סיפור אהבה שונה (בצורה הטובה ביותר), חוצה תרבויות, בוגר, ייחודי ומיוחד, אני ממליצה עליו מאוד מאוד.
