Maddie went on a date and when she came home she found her ex-boyfriend who broke her heart six months ago, Chase Black, sitting on her doorstep, looking pretty lost and asking for her help. 😱
He ask to her to be his fake fiancée just for one day in front of his family… but will it be only one day? Will she be able to protect her heart from him again? 💍🖤
It was another fake engagement story, with a billionaire H who always gets his way and a weak h who will do anything to please him. 🤷♀️
To be honest, the book was cute and entertaining at first, but after a few chapters it dragged and became quite boring and predictable. The characters weren't developed at all and everything felt too rushed and didn't always make sense… 🙈

There wasn't much sex between them, but Chase definitely liked to think and say what he would like to do to her…or have Maddie do to him…which made his serious character ridiculous. 😬
Indeed, my biggest problem in this book was Chase Black. I couldn't understand what attracted Maddie to him. His personality was so… banal. 😂
In addition, his sexual comments were so unnecessary. It really detracted from the story for me. 🙈
Plus, most of the book was internal thoughts, and that's one of the things I hate most… Like, talk to each other, not to yourself, God dammit! 😂
I actually did finish the book, but I think this author has much better books than this one… 🤷♀️🖤

זה עוד סיפור של אירוסין מזויפים, עם גיבור מיליארדר שתמיד מקבל את שלו וגיבורה חלשה שתעשה הכל בשביל לרצות אותו. 🤷♀️
אם להיות כנה, הספר היה חמוד ומשעשע בהתחלה, אבל אחרי כמה פרקים הוא נגרר והפך להיות די משעמם וצפוי. הדמויות לא היו מפותחות והכל הרגיש מהיר מידי ולא תמיד הגיוני… 🙈

לא היה הרבה סקס בין הדמויות, אבל צ'ייס בהחלט אהב לחשוב ולהגיד מה שהוא היה רוצה לעשות לה… או שמאדי תעשה לו… מה שהפך את הדמות הרצינית שלו למגוחכת בעיני. 😬
ואכן, הבעיה הכי גדולה שלי הייתה עם צ'ייס בלאק. לא הצלחתי להבין מה משך אותה אליו. האישיות שלו הייתה כל כך… בנאלית. 😂
בנוסף, ההתבטאויות המיניות שלו היו כל כך מיותרות. מבחינתי זה ממש גרע מהסיפור. 🙈
מה גם, שרוב הספר הוא מחשבות פנימיות, וזה אחד הדברים שאני הכי שונאת בעולם… כאילו, דברו אחד עם השני, לא עם עצמכם, לעזאזל! 😂
אז אמנם סיימתי את הספר, אבל אני חושבת שיש לסופרת הזו ספרים הרבה יותר מוצלחים ומומלצים ממנו… 🤷♀️🖤
