This is an emotional, beautifully and wonderful coming-of-age story (YA) that managed to sweep me away from the first chapter. Although there are no erotic scenes in it, the story was so captivating that I didn't even notice, until the last chapter. 😱
I enjoyed reading about their friendship, their love of horror movies and swimming in the lake, and how it turned into a powerful love over time. 🧡
The chapters jump between past and present – and left me curious to find out what happened that ruined everything (and even though I guessed and was right, it didn't bother me). 💥
Although the plot was a bit over dramatic, but I was so invested in the story, that their breakup felt so realistic, I felt their pain too, and hoped that they would get the happy ending they deserved… 🙏

All in all, this book was a big surprise for me, because I definitely did not expect to be so carried away… so much so that I finished listening to it in one day (this hasn't happened since the twins were born!) 😱😱😱
I highly recommend it to anyone who likes to read great romance. 🧡

זהו סיפור התבגרות (YA) מרגש, יפה ונפלא שהצליח לסחוף אותי כבר מהפרק הראשון. למרות שאין בו בכלל סצנות אירוטיות, הסיפור היה כל כך שובה לב שבכלל לא שמתי לב שלא היו כאלו, עד הפרק האחרון. 😱
כל כך נהניתי לקרוא על החברות שלהם, על אהבתם לסרטי אימה ולשחייה באגם, ועל איך שהפכה עם הזמן לאהבה עוצמתית. 🧡
הפרקים קופצים בין עבר להווה – והשאירו אותי סקרנית לגלות מה קרה שהרס את הכל (ולמרות שניחשתי וצדקתי, זה לא הפריע לי). 💥
אמנם העלילה הייתה קצת אובר דרמטית, אבל הייתי כל כך מושקעת בסיפור, שהפרידה שלהם הרגישה לי מציאותית, עד שהרגשתי את הכאב יחד איתם, ורק קיוויתי שיקבלו את הסוף הטוב שמגיע להם… 🙏

לסיכום, הספר הזה הוא לגמרי הפתעת השנה עבורי, כי לא ציפיתי להיסחף כך… עד כדי כך שסיימתי להקשיב לו ביום אחד (וזה לא קרה מאז שנולדו התאומים!) 😱😱😱
אני ממליצה עליו בחום לכל מי שאוהב לקרוא רומנטיקה נהדרת. 🧡
