I'll start from the end: I didn't like this book. 🙈
The main characters were really annoying and there was no chemistry between them. There were too many cheesy and creepy moments, lots of forced and unnecessary drama and in general, the plot made no sense to me at all. 🙄
The h ran away from her wedding to help her twin sister, with whom she had not been in contact for 11 years, even though she knows she's not a good person… and then, despite what her sister did, instead of returning home, within one day she simply adapts and starts a new life in this new place – responsible for a stranger to her, finds an apartment to live in (rent free), has a great job and even two men who fight over her. It was just too farfetched and… one big cliché. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
📚 "You're telling me he's a grumpy, overprotective hottie next-door and you're not going to sleep with him? How westeful." 📚
In addition, despite the author's attempts, Knox's character was NOT grumpy… he was super possessive, and even a little abusive. A 40 year old man who acts like a 15 year old boy. 🙈
And, there were also too many characters, so it was impossible for me to keep track… and the names were so strange, for example, the girl was called Waylay and the dog was called Waylon – I kept getting them confused! 😂😂😂
The only thing I liked about the book, was it's cover… 🤍😬

אני אתחיל מהסוף: לא אהבתי את הספר הזה. 🙈
הדמויות הראשיות היו ממש מעצבנות ולא הייתה ביניהם טיפת כימיה. היו יותר מדי רגעים צ'יזיים וקריפיים, המון וויכוחים מאולצים ומיותרים ובאופן כללי, העלילה לא הייתה הגיונית לי בכלל. 🙄
הגיבורה ברחה מהחתונה שלה כדי לעזור לאחותה התאומה, שלא הייתה בקשר איתה במשך 11 שנים, למרות שהיא יודעת שהיא לא אדם טוב… ואז, למרות מה שאחותה עשתה לה, במקום לחזור הביתה, תוך יום אחד היא מסתגלת ומתחילה חיים חדשים במקום החדש הזה – אחראית על אדם זר לה, מוצאת דירה לגור בה (בלי לשלם כלום), יש לה עבודה מעולה וגם שני גברים שנלחמים עליה. זה פשוט היה מופרך מדי ו… קלישאה אחת גדולה. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

בנוסף, למרות הניסיון של הסופרת, הדמות של נוקס לא הייתה זועפת… הוא היה רכושני בצורה מוגזמת, ואפילו קצת מתעלל. גבר בן 40 שמתנהג כמו ילד בן 15. 🙈
וגם, היו יותר מדי דמויות, לכן היה לי ממש קשה לעקוב… והשמות היו כל כך מוזרים, למשל, לילדה קראו ווילי ולכלב קראו ווילון – כל הזמן התבלבלתי ביניהם! 😂😂😂
לסיכום, הדבר היחיד שאהבתי בספר הזה, הוא הכריכה… 🤍😬
