📚 "You wear the hat, you ride the cowboy." 📚
The first half was FLAWLESS! I loved that the hero is a professional bull rider, it was a first for me. I loved the banters and teasing between them that made me laugh out loud. I loved the sexual tension. I loved that the hero was willing to protect the heroine at all cost… and his nickname for her? *faint*. 🔥
However, I didn't like the drama with her ex, and especially her father's reaction to that… it was a bit cringy. I didn't like that there were a lot of loose ends (like, with Rob and also Summer's sister… does it just end like that?) 🤔
Plus, Summer was a big fan of Rhett as a teen, and even had a poster of him on her wall – so how could she not know the rules of the sport he plays?! Honey, when I was young I had a celebrity crush on Keanu Reeves. So much so, that I printed out the Matrix script and learned it by heart! 😂😂😂
But mostly, I didn't like that after they finally did it, it was all about sex… The scenes were hot, but most of them were over the top. 🙈

I don’t even need to think about it. I know what I want from him.
“Ruin me.” 📚
All in all, it was quite predictable and a bit cheesy small town romance, but definitely enjoyable and super spacey. The authors' writing was great, so I will definitely continue to the second book, which I'm very curious about. 💥🐃

הם מגיעים מעולמות שונים לגמרי, אך נאלצים לבלות חודשיים שלמים יחד… ואולי סאמר היא לא הבחורה העירונית הלחוצה שהוא חשב שהיא… ואולי רט הוא לא הפלייבוי השחצן שהיא חשבה שהוא… 💥💥💥

מבחינתי החצי הראשון של הספר היה, ממש כמו שם הספר, מושלם! אהבתי שהגיבור הוא רוכב שוורים מקצועי, זה היה הספר הראשון בו נתקלתי בגיבור כזה. אהבתי את הריבים וההקנטות ביניהם שגרמו לי לצחוק בקול. אהבתי את בניית המתח המיני. אהבתי שהגיבור היה מוכן להגן על הגיבורה בכל מחיר… והכינוי שלו עבורה? *לְהִתְעַלֵף*. 🔥
מה שכן, לא אהבתי את הדרמה עם האקס שלה, ובמיוחד התגובה של אביה לנושא… זה היה קצת קרינג'י. לא אהבתי שנשארו המון קצוות פתוחים (למשל, בנוגע לרוב וגם עם אחותה של סאמר… זה פשוט נגמר ככה?) 🤔
בנוסף, סאמר הייתה מעריצה גדולה של רט בילדותה, ואפילו היה לה פוסטר שלו על הקיר – אז איך יכול להיות שהיא לא מכירה את חוקי הספורט שהוא משחק?! חמודה, בצעירותי הערצתי את קיאנו ריבס. עד כדי כך, שהדפסתי את התסריט של המטריקס ולמדתי אותו בעל פה! 😂😂😂
אבל בעיקר, לא אהבתי שאחרי שהם סוף סוף עשו את זה, הכל סבב סביב סקס… הסצנות אמנם היו לוהטות, אבל רובן היו מוגזמות. 🙈

לסיכום, רומן עיירה קטנה קצת צ'יזי ודיי צפוי, אבל בהחלט מהנה וסופר לוהט. הכתיבה של הסופרת הזו מעולה, אז כמובן שאמשיך גם לספר השני, שמסקרן אותי מאוד. 🐃💥
