But instead, her new boss, Rowan Kane, hires her as a creator to improve it. 🎢
Rowan is cold and grumpy who really hates Dreamland because of his childhood memories, but determined to renovate it so he can get his share of the inheritance. But then he meets the beautiful Zahra who always looks for the best in people, while he expects the worst, and awakens a side of him that has been dormant for a long time. 🔥
Between texting under a fake name and stolen kisses, they struggle to overcome their insecurities and trust issues.
Will they get their happily ever after? Will Rowan succeed in his mission? And what will happen when the secrets are revealed? 💙💙💙

I roll my eyes. “If these are your standards, there’s nowhere to go but up.” 📚
I read this book because of Tik Tok, but I finished it a few days ago and I don't remember most of it… It's a cute story, but the hype around it is unjustified in my opinion. 🙈
I liked that Zahra wasn't thin, but it wasn't a big deal and her curves were not mentioned in every sentence like in similar books. 👏
I liked the unique setting, Dreamland was a version of Disneyland and it was totally refreshing. 🎢
I liked that it has a diverse cast of characters, including representation of disabilities. Ani was definitely my favorite character, Down's syndrome didn't stop her from being confident. 💙
I liked Rowan, the tormented grumpy man who learns to believe in people, women and love… I laughed at their banters and his romantic gestures made me swoon! 😍
📚“Did I meet your expectations?”
“I couldn’t spell the word expectations, let alone define them right now.” 📚
What didn't work for me is that the whole plot around the will was unclear and certainly not believable. Most of the time nothing happens, but there was a lot of unnecessary drama. 🤷♀️
Plus, I didn't like Zahra. Her character was ridiculously exaggerated, or as Rowan said: "Oddly annoying and way too nice". 😬
And most importantly, despite the author's many (!) attempts, the story was quite superficial… it's fun and romantic (the second half was much better), but it doesn't have much depth. 🙈
If you like sweet "office-romance" and "grumpy/sunshine" tropes, this is the book for you. 💙

דרימלנד הוא פארק השעשועים של משפחת קיין ומרכז חייה של זהרה, מאז שהיא זוכרת את עצמה. לכן, כאשר כתבה ביקורת קוטלת על אחד המתקנים הכי יקרים שלהם בזמן שהייתה שיכורה, היא משוכנעת שהולכים לפטר אותה. אבל במקום, הבוס החדש, רואן קיין, שוכר אותה כ"יוצרת" כדי לשפר אותו. 🎢
רואן אדם קר וממורמר שממש לא אוהב את דרימלנד בגלל זכרונות מעברו, אך נחוש לשפץ את הפארק המשפחתי, ממניעים נסתרים – כדי לקבל את חלקו בירושה. אבל אז הוא פוגש בזהרה היפה שתמיד מחפשת את הטוב באנשים, בזמן שהוא מצפה לגרוע מכל, ומעוררת בו צד שהיה רדום מזמן. 🔥
בין התכתבות באסמסים תחת שם בדוי ונשיקות גנובות, הם נאבקים להתגבר על חוסר הביטחון ובעיות האמון שלהם.
האם יקבלו את האושר בסוף? האם רואן יצליח במשימתו? ומה יקרה כשהסודות יתגלו? 💙💙💙

קראתי את הספר בגלל ההמלצות שהיו עליו בטיק טוק, אבל סיימתי לפני כמה ימים ואני כבר לא זוכרת את רובו… זה סיפור חמוד, אבל ההייפ סביבו קצת מוגזם לדעתי. 🙈
אהבתי שזהרה לא דקיקה, אבל לא עשו מזה ביג דיל והזכירו את הקימורים שלה בכל משפט כמו בספרים אחרים. 👏
אהבתי את התפאורה המיוחדת, דרימלנד היא כמו גרסה של דיסנילנד וזה היה לגמרי מרענן. 🎢
אהבתי שיש קאסט מגוון של דמויות, כולל ייצוג של מוגבלויות. אנני בהחלט הדמות האהובה עליי, אהבתי שתסמונת הדאון לא הפריעה לה להיות בטוחה בעצמה. 💙
אהבתי את רואן, הדמות המיוסרת והזועפת שלומדת להאמין באנשים, נשים ואהבה… צחקתי מהמריבות שלו עם זהרה והמחוות הרומנטיות שלו גרמו לי להתעלף! 😍

מה שלא עבד לי הוא שהעלילה סביב הצוואה הייתה לא ברורה ובטח שלא אמינה. לא קרו בספר הרבה דברים, אבל הייתה המון דרמה מיותרת. 🤷♀️
בנוסף, לא חיבבתי את זהרה. הדמות שלה הייתה מוגזמת בצורה מגוחכת, או כמו שרואן אמר: "Oddly annoying and way too nice". 😬
והכי חשוב, למרות הניסיונות הרבים (מאוד!) של הסופרת, הסיפור נשאר דיי שטחי… הוא כן רומנטי וכייפי (החצי השני שלו הרבה יותר מוצלח), אבל אין בו הרבה עומק. 🙈
אם אתן אוהבות רומנטיקה מתוקה, טרופים של "רומן משרדי" וגם "גראמפי/סנשיין", זה הספר בשבילכן. 💙
• קראתי את הספר באנגלית, אבל הוא תורגם לעברית ע"י הוצאת "א(ה)בות". 🔤
