I'll start from the end: this book had a lot of unrealized potential. It has a lot of passion, I didn't feel the love. 🤷‍♀️

I definitely understood the heroine. Amory did love her husband, but there was never the spark, the madness, the passion between them… she wanted it and found it in Mason. 🔥🔥🔥

But no, don't tell me he was mature for his age, because he wasn't. The fact that he stared at the her intensely at every opportunity (including while he followed her and hid in the bushes when she was on a date 🤦‍♀️) does not make him mature.
All the chapters from Mason's point of view had depictions of him thinking, dreaming and praying to sleep with her, while walking around with a permanent erection because of her.
And after sleeping with her…? All the chapters had descriptions of him thinking, dreaming and praying to sleep with her *AGAIN*, while touching himself and fantasizing about it. If that's not a teenager in the prime of his puberty, I don't know what is. 😂😂😂

📚 "She was the one thing that made me feel completely calm. Not in the normal sense—our crazy tension was anything but peaceful or gentle—but I felt comfortable. At home. There was nowhere else in the world I wanted to be." 📚

After I reached 47%, I got tired of reading about it over and over again and I wasn't really interested in what would happen to them in the end, so I decided to stop reading. 🤷‍♀️

If you like forbidden love stories, second chance, reversed age gap and lots of spice… this is the book for you. 💔

אני אתחיל מהסוף: לספר היה המון פוטנציאל בלתי ממומש. יש בו המון תשוקה, אבל בכלל לא הרגשתי את האהבה. 🤷‍♀️

בהחלט הבנתי את הגיבורה. אמורי אמנם אהבה את בעלה, אך מעולם לא היה ביניהם את הניצוץ, את הטירוף, את התשוקה… היא רצתה את זה ומצאה את זה במייסון. 🔥🔥🔥

אבל לא, אל תגידו לי שהוא בוגר לגילו, כי הוא לא. זה שהוא נעץ בגיבורה מבטים אינטנסיביים בכל הזדמנות (כולל בזמן שעקב אחריה והתחבא בשיחים כשהייתה בדייט 🤦‍♀️) לא הופך אותו לבוגר.
כל הפרקים מזווית הראייה של מייסון כללו תיאורים שלו חושב, חולם ומתפלל לשכב איתה, בזמן שהוא מתהלך עם זקפה תמידית בגללה.
ואחרי ששכב איתה…? כל הפרקים כללו תיאורים שלו חושב, חולם ומתפלל לשכב איתה *שוב*, בזמן שהוא נוגע בעצמו ומפנטז על זה. אם זה לא בן נוער בשיא תקופת ההתבגרות שלו, אני לא יודעת מה כן. 😂😂😂

אחרי שהגעתי ל 47%, נמאס לי לקרוא על זה שוב ושוב ולא ממש עניין אותי מה יעלה בגורלם בסוף, לכן החלטתי לפרוש. 🤷‍♀️

אם אתן אוהבות רומנים אסורים של הזדמנות שנייה, פער גילאים הפוך והרבה ספייס… זה הספר בשבילכן. 💔
