לקריאת הסקירה בעברית – תגללו למטה!

Layla owns an online lingerie business that she designs and models herself. Her life is arranged according to lists and schedules, she even has a dating diary – which turns out she sucks at, because she has already gone out on 120 dates in 14 months and has never had a second date.
During her last date with a guy she's sure is the one, the waiter comes to tell her they saw him running out of the bathroom window. 😂🙈
Before she can understand how embarrassing the situation is, Zack, who happened to be there, comes to her rescue – and tells the waiter that it was him, and only went out to get some air, and comforts her with a mojito. Lots and lots of mojito… 💙

📚 "I should just focus on my work. Maybe one day, I’ll be rich enough to buy a husband". 📚

Zack, Luke and Josh are her best friends and live next door, eternal bachelors and owners of a podcast about dating.🎙
In a moment of weakness, sadness and lots of alcohol… she asks them to teach her how to date. At first they refuse, but after discovering that their show is in danger and needs to be refreshed, they decide to go for it as an experiment for the podcast. 😬
How exactly will they teach her about dating? How will it all end? Will they remain good friends or will they cross a line from which there is no going back? And how exactly can one girl date three men…? 💙💙💙

Although I really don't like RH books, this one took me by surprise because I enjoyed the male characters and the story was super refreshing and cool (the podcast episodes, the social media posts and more).
Usually books like that are full of sex, but this book was very long (562 pages) because the author has built a real plot. 👏
The intimate scenes were well written (and super hot🔥🔥🔥) and although it's still smutt, at least it wasn't just porn… 🤷‍♀️

And hopeful. Fall in love again, and again, and again. It’ll be okay. I promise. And ladies, pee after sex." 📚

My main problem was with the h. At first Layla's weirdness was kind of humorous and cute, but after a few chapters it became unbearable, unrealistic and even dumb. Her character became comical, and not in the good sense of the word… 🙈
Plus, there were parts that bored me and unnecessary parts that could definitely have been cut out (have I mentioned it's a long book?) BUT!!! I felt the love, the characters were well built and developed and most of the things that happened were even pretty believable (except for the drama in the reunion).

So even though I totally enjoyed this romantic comedy, this is probably the last time I will read this troupe, because it's simply not suitable for a monogamist like me… 🤷‍♀️😂
If you never tried RH before, is the perfect book to start with! 💙💙💙

ליילה בעלת עסק אינטרנטי של הלבשה תחתונה שהיא מעצבת ומדגמנת בעצמה. כל החייה מסודרים לפי רשימות ולוחות זמנים, יש לה אפילו יומן דייטים – שמסתבר שהיא ממש גרועה בהם, כי היא כבר יצאה ל-120 דייטים ב-14 חודשים ומעולם לא היה לה דייט שני.
בזמן הדייט האחרון שלה עם בחור שהיא בטוחה שהוא האחד, המלצר הגיע להגיד לה שראו אותו בורח מחלון השירותים. 😂🙈
לפני שהספיקה להבין את גודל המבוכה, זאק, שהיה שם במקרה, מגיע להציל אותה – ואומר למלצר שזה היה הוא ורק יצא לשאוף אוויר, ומנחם אותה עם מוחיטו. המון המון מוחיטו… 💙

זאק, לוק וג'וש גרים בדירה ממול והחברים הכי טובים שלה, רווקים נצחיים ובעלי תוכנית פודקאסט על דייטים. 🎙
ברגע של חולשה, עצב והמון אלכוהול… היא מבקשת מהם שילמדו אותה איך לצאת לדייטים. בהתחלה הם מסרבים, אבל לאחר שמגלים כי התוכנית שלהם בסכנה וצריכה ריענון, הם מחליטים ללכת על זה כניסוי לטובת התוכנית. 😬
איך בדיוק הם ילמדו אותה על דייטים? איך הכל ייגמר? האם יישארו חברים טובים או שיעברו קו שאי אפשר לחזור ממנו? ואיך בדיוק בחורה אחת יכולה לצאת עם שלושה גברים…? 💙💙💙

אמנם אני ממש מתעבת ספרי RH (הרמון הפוך – תחשבו על גואל רצון, רק הפוך… בחורה אחת, הרבה גברים 🙈) אבל הספר בהחלט הצליח להפתיע כי נהניתי מהדמויות הגבריות ובניית הסיפור הייתה סופר מרעננת ומגניבה (פרקי פודקאסט, הפוסטים ברשתות החברתיות ועוד).
בדרך כלל ספרים מהסוג הזה הם סליזיים ומלאים בסקס, פה – הספר מאוד ארוך (562 עמודים) כי הסופרת בנתה עלילה אמיתית. 👏
הסצנות האינטימיות היו כתובות בצורה טובה (וסופר לוהטת🔥🔥🔥) ואמנם זה עדיין סמאט, אבל לפחות לא סתם פורנו… 🤷‍♀️

הבעיה העיקרית שלי הייתה עם הגיבורה. בהתחלה המוזרות והמבוכה של ליילה הייתה חביבה והומוריסטית, אך אחרי כמה פרקים זה הפך לבלתי נסבל, לא אמין ואפילו טיפשי. הדמות שלה הפכה לקומית, ולא במובן הטוב של המילה…🙈
בנוסף, היו חלקים ששיעממו אותי וחלקים מיותרים שבהחלט אפשר היה לקצץ (ספר ארוך כבר אמרתי?) אבל!!! הרגשתי את האהבה, הדמויות נבנו והתפתחו ורוב הדברים שקרו אפילו היו דיי אמינים (חוץ מהדרמה ההזויה בפגישת המחזור).

אז למרות שלגמרי נהניתי מהקומדיה הרומנטית הזו, זו כנראה הפעם האחרונה שאקרא את הטרופ הזה, כי הגעתי למסקנה שהוא פשוט לא מתאים למונוגמיסטית כמוני… 🤷‍♀️😂
מה שכן, מי שמעולם לא ניסתה RH, זה הספר המושלם להתחיל איתו! 💙💙💙
