לקריאת הסקירה בעברית – תגללו למטה!

This is a sweet and fun Slow Burn book – and despite that, the erotic part completely surprised me… with lots of shock faces and blush – there is nothing hotter than a nerdy kinky hero, right? 🔥 (Remember chapter 20 🤪).
But there were things I did not like… for example, the reason they decided on the fake relationship was illogical and a bit stupid and there were some parts where nothing happened…
Plus, I didn't understand the author's decision to write the book in third person – it didn't bothered me – but there was no justification for it because the whole plot was told only through Olive's eyes – what she did, what she felt, what she thought etc… 🤷‍♀️

📚 "I wish you could see yourself the way I see you." 📚

Although I didn't read it with bated breath, I definitely enjoyed the sweet story, the sexual tension and of course… the hot sex scene! 🔥🤍🔥

אוליב סמית', מועמדת לדוקטורט, רוצה לשכנע את חברתה הכי טובה שהיא מאושרת ויוצאת עם מישהו, לכן מנשקת באימפולסיביות את אדם קרלסון, פרופסור צעיר ולוהט בעל מוניטין קשוח ביותר. 💋
השניים מסכימים להתחיל מערכת יחסים מזויפת, אך רגשות אמיתיים מתחילים לבעבע על פני השטח… עד שהכל משתנה בכנס מדע גדול. 💥🔬🤍

זה ספר סלואו ברן מתוק וכיפי – ולמרות זאת, הקטע האירוטי לגמרי הצליח להפתיע אותי… ברמה של פרצופי הלם וסומק בלחיים – אין כמו דמות גברית חנונית וקינקית, נכון?! 🔥 (תזכרו את פרק 20 🤪).
אבל גם היו דברים שלא אהבתי… למשל, הסיבה שבגללה הם החליטו על המערכת היחסים המזוייפת הייתה לא הגיונית וקצת דבילית וגם היו כמה חלקים שבהם כלום לא קרה…
בנוסף, לא הבנתי את ההחלטה של הסופרת לכתוב את הספר בגוף שלישי – זה לא הפריע לי – אבל לא הייתה לזה הצדקה כי כל העלילה סופרה רק דרך עיניה של אוליב – מה עשתה, מה הרגישה, מה חשבה וכו'… אז למה לא גוף ראשון? 🤷‍♀️

אמנם לא קראתי את הספר בנשימה עצורה, אבל בהחלט נהניתי מהסיפור המתוק, המתח המיני וכמובן… סצנת הסקס המטריפה! 🔥🤍🔥
