לקריאת הסקירה בעברית – תגללו למטה!

I was going to listen to only a few chapters before bed, but suddenly it was 3 in the morning and I finished the book – I enjoyed it that much!!! 👏
It has a crazy heroine – a tough arrogant hero and an original paranormal plot, full with humor. 💘

The story begins with Cupid (Trix). The job of the Cupid Angels in Cupidville is to spread love and passion on humans, but Trix is really bad at her job. 💩

📚 “So then, when I finally get one stinkin’ arrow, what do I do? I miss! I shot it out and accidentally hit her little dog that she had hidden in her purse. She had to leave her date early because the dog hopped out and started humping people’s legs. It wouldn’t stop, and that little guy was fast. I think the woman got banned from the restaurant.” 📚

She has a strange obsession with the hero, Warren Knight, in which she watches in her spare time on his failed dates (and even when he is just showering 😂). Warren is an arrogant billionaire who does nothing for fun. Although he is not a typical rich man, he definitely acts like a jerk – and is not willing to commit because of a secret… 😱
But then something happens that causes both of their lives to collide and Trix's life mission is to make him fall in love… Will their feelings for each other ruin the plans? 💘

📚 “I just wanna bite your bun cheeks,” I admit to him.
I admit all sorts of embarrassing things to him. I’m able to say it all out loud because I know that he can’t judge me since he can’t hear me. It’s very therapeutic. 📚

What an awesome book! Witty, funny light-read and I finished hearing it with a huge smile on my face!!! 💘
I love originality, and I have not yet read a book about Cupid descending from heaven and falling in love with a human. 🤪

Yeah – there were boring parts (the chapter in the nudist colony 😬) or parts I wanted to change (Warren didn't get answers at the end – I know, it's a bit silly because it's paranormal and there is no logical answer, but I still wanted him to know the truth 🤪). There were also clichés (mostly "Youre mine") and mentions of dick and tits – but that didn't stop me from enjoying.

What I liked most is that the connection between the them was not "Insta Love" and wasn't based on attraction and hot sex – because they developed a real emotional connection. But most importantly- this book is paranormal, but the love story did not feel supernatural, but about hippie girl who probably took a lot of drugs and is on a crazy trip! 😂😂😂
So even those who do not like this sub-genre, will be able to connect to the plot. 💘

התכוונתי לשמוע רק כמה פרקים לפני השינה, אבל פתאום השעה הייתה 3 בבוקר וסיימתי את הספר – עד כדי כך נהניתי!!! 👏
יש בו גיבורה מטורללת – גיבור קשוח ושחצן ועלילת פאראנורמל מקורית, מפתיעה מלאה בהומור. 💘

הסיפור מתחיל עם קופידון (טריקס). תפקידם של מלאכי הקופידון בקופידוויל הוא לפזר אהבה ותשוקה על בני האדם, אבל טריקס ממש גרועה בעבודתה. 💩

יש לה אובססיה מוזרה לגיבור שלנו, וורן נייט (איזה שם מבאס לגיבור! 😂) בו היא צופה בזמנה הפנוי בדייטים כושלים (וגם כשהוא סתם מתקלח 😂). וורן הוא מיליארדר שחצן שלא עושה שום דבר בשביל הכיף. הוא אמנם לא גבר עשיר טיפוסי, אבל הוא בהחלט מתנהג כמו אידיוט – ולא מוכן להתחייב בגלל סוד… 😱
אבל אז קורה משהו שגורם לחיים של שניהם להתנגש יחד ומשימת חייה של טריקס היא לגרום לו להתאהב… האם הרגשות שלהם אחד כלפי השני יהרסו את התוכניות? 💘

איזה ספר מגניב! הוא שנון, קליל, מצחיק וסיימתי לשמוע אותו עם חיוך ענק על הפנים!!! 💘
תודו שספר פאראנורמל על קופידון שיורדת מהשמיים ומתאהבת בגבר, עוד לא היה לנו. 🤪

אז כן – היו חלקים משעממים (הפרק על מושבת הנודיסטים 😬) או חלקים שרציתי לשנות (וורן לא קיבל בסוף תשובות – ונכון שזה קצת דבילי, כי זה פאראנורמל ואין תשובה הגיונית, אבל עדיין רציתי שהוא יידע את האמת חחח 🤪). היו גם לא מעט קלישאות (בעיקר "את שלי") ואזכורים של זין וציצים – אבל זה לא הפריע לי ליהנות.

מה שהכי אהבתי בספר הזה הוא שהקשר בין הדמויות לא היה "אינסטה לאב" שמבוסס רק על משיכה וסקס לוהט (אבל גם… והרבה! 🔥) כי הם פיתחו קשר רגשי אמיתי. אבל הכי חשוב – הוא אמנם פאראנורמל, אבל סיפור האהבה לא הרגיש על טבעי, אלא על בחורה הזויה (בקטע טוב כן?) שכנראה לקחה המון סמים והיא בטריפ מטורף! 😂😂😂
אז גם מי שלא מחבב את התת זאנר הזה, יוכל להתחבר לעלילה. 💘
