Jewel is one of my favorite authors and when she releases a book, I don't even read the blurb, I trust her writing and her developed imagination – and dive right in. 💙

The book tells the story of of Emmett and Tatum and their great love. The plot jumps between their acquaintance in the past, where he stole it from her date – and the present, where they are no longer together, divorced – and between them is an ocean of pain, grief and guilt. 💔
Despite everything, Emmett never stopped loving Tatum – he loves with all his heart and soul and only wants her best, but he promised her to love Lucy more than her… more of them… 🙏
What happened to their great love? Who is Lucy and why did he sacrifice everything for her?

I don't know if it is the hormones of my pregnancy, but I did not stop sobbing while reading. 😂
This story is so special and different… it's full of emotion and inspiration. It made me think a lot, among other things, about what kind of mother I want to be (really soon!) – and I want to be just like Emmett, the hero. 💙💙💙
The plot is told from Emmett's POV – and for a moment I did not feel I was missing anything, it was a perfect choice by Jewel. 👏
I enjoyed the book, but must admit that towards the end I was exhausted from those never-ending wars between Tatum and Emmett, which made the ending too fast for my taste – but that's also what made the book what it is – a mature, tragic, raw and full of emotion. 💔
Trigger Warning: Death of a Child – not recommended to read during pregnancy, like I did. 😂😂😂

למרות כל מה שהם עברו, אמט מעולם לא הפסיק לאהוב את טייטום – הוא אוהב בכל ליבו ונשמתו ורק רוצה בטובתה, אבל הוא הבטיח לה לאהוב את לוסי יותר ממנה… יותר מהם… 🙏
מה קרה לאהבתם הגדולה? מי זו לוסי ולמה הוא הקריב הכל עבורה?

אני לא יודעת אם זה ההורמונים של ההיריון שלי, אבל לא הפסקתי לרגע להתייפח מבכי בזמן הקריאה. 😂
הסיפור הזה כל כך מיוחד ושונה… הוא מלא ברגש ובהשראה. הוא גרם לי לחשוב המון, בין היתר, על איזה אימא אני רוצה להיות (ממש בקרוב!) – ואני רוצה להיות בדיוק כמו אמט, הגיבור. 💙💙💙
העלילה מסופרת מזווית הראייה של אמט – ולרגע לא הרגשתי שחסר לי משהו, זו הייתה בחירה מושלמת של ג'ול. 👏
נהניתי מהספר מאוד, אבל מודה שלקראת הסוף הותשתי מאותן המלחמות הבלתי נגמרות בין טייטום לאמט, מה שהפך את הסוף למהיר מידי לטעמי – אבל זה גם מה שעשה את הספר למה שהוא – רומן בוגר, טראגי, גולמי ומלא ברגש. 💔
אזהרת טריגר: מוות של ילד. לא מומלץ לקרוא אותו בזמן הריון, כמו שאני עשיתי. 😂😂😂
