I love historical romance books and I also love dark books, so I was totally excited to find out that this book is a combination of both. 👏
It was an adventure – dark, suspenseful, emotional, erotic and very romantic. It was an unexpected journey, full of action and of course hot, hot, hot as fuck scenes!!! 🔥🔥🔥
The writing was brilliant, the plot was surprising, the characters were well developed and the audio experience was amazing. ⚓
However, the book is VERY long – 15 and a half hours (!!!) and I must admit that the beginning was difficult for me… I hated everyone and everything – but suddenly I found myself mesmerized without being able to stop! 👑
But do not let that beautiful cover confuse you, it's a dark and twisted story… and even though I do not shy away from violent content, there were parts that the descriptions were too much to me, so I think it will not suit everyone… 💙
Also, I love romantic love triangles and I was wondering how it would be resolved and who Bennett would choose in the end. And despite the surprise, I must say that I did not like that twist, it was too comfortable and too weird. 😬
Despite that, it is without a doubt an unforgettable book – so special and original! It can easily be turned into a crazy TV series – I actually saw before my eyes the plot revived on screen!!! (Now seriously, who has HBO's phone number ?!) 💙💙💙
Recommended for historical and dark romance books lovers, with touches of taboo . ⚓

אני אוהבת רומנים היסטוריים וגם ספרי אופל, אז לגמרי התלהבתי לגלות שזהו שילוב של שניהם. 👏
הספר הזה הוא הרפתקאה – אפל, מותח, רגשי, ארוטי ומאוד רומנטי. זה היה מסע בלתי צפוי, מלא באקשן וכמובן סצנות לוהטות, לוהטות, לוהטות!!! 🔥🔥🔥
הכתיבה מבריקה, העלילה מפתיעה, הדמויות מעולות והחוויה באודיו הייתה מדהימה. ⚓
מה שכן, הספר מאוד ארוך – 15 וחצי שעות (!!!) ואני חייבת להודות שההתחלה היתה לי קשה… שנאתי את כולם ואת הכל – אבל פתאום מצאתי את עצמי מהופנטת מבלי יכולת להפסיק! 👑
אבל אל תתנו לכריכה היפה לבלבל אתכן, זה סיפור אפל ומעוות… אפילו קצת חולני. ולמרות שאני לא נרתעת מתוכן אלים, היו רגעים שממש הזדעזעתי וחלק מהתיאורים הקשים הרגישו לי מוגזמים, לכן אני חושבת שהוא לא יתאים לכולם… 💙
כמו כן, אני אוהבת משולשי אהבה רומנטיים ותהיתי איך הוא ייפתר ובמי בנט תבחר בסוף. ולמרות ההפתעה, אני חייבת לציין שלא אהבתי את הטוויסט, הוא היה נוח והזוי מידי לטעמי. 😬
למרות זאת, זה ללא ספק ספר בלתי נשכח וכל כך מיוחד ומקורי! הוא בקלות יכול להפוך לסדרה מטורפת – ממש ראיתי מול העיניים את העלילה קמה לתחייה על המסך!!! (עכשיו ברצינות, למי יש את הטלפון של HBO?!) 💙💙💙
