The last book in the series is coming out soon, so I felt like listening to this audio again, because when I first heard it, I didn't appreciate it enough (hey hey, relax – I had my midterm exam's!!!! 😂)

This is the third book in the Devils Night Series – and although every book is about a different character, you have to read them in order, because the previous books felt like a grand introduction for this book! 💣💣💣

📚 “How I’d never hated anyone as much as I hated him, but how I loved what I felt with him more than I loved anything I felt with anyone else, either.” 📚

This is Damon Torrace's story, one of the four horseman and the villain-fucked-up one. 😈
Boy, he was such an anti-hero that I couldn't believe Penelope would be able to redeem him… let alone make me LIKE him!!!
At first I really wanted to kick his ass, but he's a super complex character and as the plot progressed and I realized his fucked up past, DAMN, I fell hopelessly in love! (and the fact that Penelope managed to do that, is another proof for what a great author she is!) ❤👑👏

Damon never had an easy life and now he wants revenge on the girl who accused him of rape and sent him to prison.
He's always hiding, always watching – like a real predator. But he doesn't want his prey to wait for him on a plate… he has to hunt it down, and this is why Winter was the perfect girl for him!!! 💥💣

Winter Ashby lost her vision when she was 8. Since then, everyone has treated her with silk gloves, except for one person. She's strong, smart, brave and the best match for Damon and his madness – because when he tries to break her mind, she fights back! But mostly, I loved that she never tried to change him… ❤😭

This book was a fucking roller coaster! the plot was intense, unexpected, painful, dark (but also quite romantic, in a twisted way 😂) and oh, SO HOT!!! (Although, believe it or not, it was a slow-burn)
It's not an easy story, it even caused me quite a bit of discomfort… but that's what made it so special for me. 💥💥💥

📚 “I need her to hurt me, because pain covers up pain, and if I feel one, I won’t feel the other." 📚

There were some slow parts at first – when it was unclear what's going on – but in the second read I appreciated and understood them more. Also, the ending was too sweet, in a way that didn't quite fit the beginning of the book, but after everything I went through with the characters, for me, it was perfect. ❤

So if you like dark psychological suspense books about 'Enemies to Lover' (they hated each other so much that I was SURE their story would have a completely different ending! LOL 😂) – I highly recommend this series. 🔥

בקרוב יוצא הספר האחרון בסדרה, אז התחשק לי לחזור ולשמוע שוב את האודיו הזה, כי כששמעתי אותו בפעם הראשונה, לא התלהבתי ממנו כל כך (היי היי, תרגעו – הייתי בתקופת מבחנים!!!! 😂)

זהו הספר שלישי בסדרת Devils Night – ואמנם כל ספר הוא על דמות אחרת, אבל חייבים לקרוא אותם לפי הסדר… כי האמת היא, שהספרים הקודמים הרגישו לי כמו הקדמה מפוארת לקראת הספר הזה! 💣💣💣

זהו סיפורו של דיימון טורנס, אחד מארבעת הפרשים והנבל של החבורה. 😈
בחיי, הוא כזה אנטי גיבור, עד שלא האמנתי שפנלופה תצליח לגאול את הדמות שלו… שלא לדבר על לגרום לי לחבב אותו!!! ואני מודה שבהתחלה באמת רציתי לחנוק אותו, אבל הוא דמות סופר מורכבת וככל שהעלילה התקדמה והבנתי את העבר הדפוק שלו, התאהבתי! (ועצם זה שפנלופה הצליחה לעשות לי את זה, זו עוד הוכחה לאיזה סופרת מעולה היא!) ❤👑👏

דיימון חווה חיים לא פשוטים ועכשיו הוא רוצה לנקום בבחורה שהאשימה אותו באונס ושלחה אותו לכלא.
הוא תמיד מתחבא, תמיד צופה… כמו חיית טרף אמיתית. אבל הוא לא מוכן שהטרף שלו יחכה לו בצלחת… הוא צריך לצוד אותו, לכן וינטר היא הבחורה המושלמת עבורו!!! 💥💣

וינטר אשבי איבדה את חוש הראייה כשהייתה בת 8 ומאז כולם מתייחסים אליה בכפפות של משי, חוץ מאדם אחד. היא חזקה, חכמה, אמיצה ואין התאמה טובה ממנה לדיימון והטירוף שלו – כי כשהוא מנסה לשבור את רוחה, היא נלחמת בו בחזרה! אבל הכי אהבתי שהיא מעולם לא ניסתה לשנות אותו… ❤😭

זו היתה פאקינג רכבת הרים של רגשות! הסיפור היה אינטנסיבי, לא צפוי, כואב, אפל (אבל גם דיי רומנטי בצורה מעוותת 😂) ואוי, כל כך כל כך לוהט!!! 🔥 (למרות ש… תאמינו או לא, אבל זה לגמרי היה סלואו בורן)
זהו לא סיפור קל, הוא אפילו גרם לי ללא מעט אי נוחות… אבל זה מה שעשה אותו לכל כך מיוחד לדעתי. 💥💥💥

היו כמה חלקים איטיים בהתחלה – כשעדיין לא ברור מי נגד מי – אבל בקריאה השנייה הערכתי והבנתי אותם יותר. וגם, הסוף היה מתוק בצורה שקצת לא התאימה להתחלת הסיפור, אבל אחרי כל מה שעברתי עם הדמויות, בשבילי, היא התאימה בול! ❤😍

אז אם אתן אוהבות ספרי מתח פסיכולוגי אפלים ואת הז'אנר של מאויבים לאוהבים (הם כל כך שנאו אחד את השני, שהייתי בטוחה שיהיה לסיפור שלהם סוף אחר לגמרי! 😂) – ממליצה בחום על הסדרה הזו. 🔥
