This book was an emotional, chemistry-filled romance about second chances, healing, and finding love when you least expect it.

My thoughts:
 Firstly, this book can definitely be read as a standalone, but Iโ€™d recommend starting with "If Tomorrow Never Comes" (which I adored!!! Review coming soon, I promise!). ๐Ÿ˜‚

What really stood out to me was the chemistry between Carly and Brooks. Their relationship unfolded so naturally and beautifully, filled with romantic tension that kept me hooked.
The characters felt layered and complex, which made their journey even more compelling. And the authorโ€™s writing struck the perfect balanceโ€”heartfelt and emotional, yet sprinkled with humor in just the right places. If you're a fan of Christina Lauren and Abby Jimenez's writing style, Alison Ashleyโ€™s writing delivers the same charm, heart, and humor youโ€™ll absolutely fall in love with. ๐Ÿ’œ
My only drawback was the third-person narration. It didnโ€™t bother me in the previous book, but here it made it harder for me to connect with the story and the charactersโ€™ inner worlds, and in my opinion, it didnโ€™t quite fit here. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Verdict:
If youโ€™re looking for a contemporary romance with depth, authentic character growth, believable slow-burn chemistry, and a lovely mix of humor and heart, this oneโ€™s for you.
And the best part? Itโ€™s available on Kindle Unlimited, with audio included! ๐ŸŽŠ
