Sloane is a serial killer who kills other serial killers, and unexpectedly, her path crosses paths with Rowan, a serial killer who also kills serial killers. Yep! 😂
When these two meet, they discover something in each other that neither of them expected, friendship. Finally someone who sees them as they are, and understands them. 
And so, they decide to meet once a year for a friendly competition where the first one to kill the chosen serial killer, wins. But over time they realize that what they feel for each other is stronger than just friendship… Can these dark people find love? 🖤

This book was original and so entertaining! Who would have believed that the author would invent a new genre?! A dark rom-com. 🖤
So yeah, it was graphic, it was dark, there were quite a few gruesome descriptions in it, and it was smutty… but that's exactly what made me want to read this book in the first place!!! 😍😂
This book was opened with a respectful amount of triggers, but what caught my eye on that list was "accidental cannibalism" and "cookies and cream ice cream. "… like, what the heck?!?! 😂

I don't think I've ever read a romantic book like this one, I don't even know if there is another romantic book like this one!!! (Dexter does not count), and most importantly , the audio was excellent! Joe Arden with an Irish accent…?  Ohhh my! I want to fall asleep with his voice in my head every night!!! 🔥🔥🔥

However, I really liked the first 70% of the book, but then, the plot got pretty dumb… after all their spectacular banter as friends, when they finally became a couple (including a very hot scene, especially if you listen to the audio 😉) the focus shifted mostly to their inner thoughts about their lack of confidence regarding the relationship, and everything that made this story so fun, became banal… 😬
I'll admit, I thought about giving it 3 stars, but I decided on 4 because of the very original idea of the plot.

All in all, it was an entertaining, fun, surprising, and original experience. I recommend it, especially the audio version. Just read the triggers first!  🖤

סלואן היא רוצחת סדרתית שהורגת רוצחים סדרתיים אחרים, ובאופן לא צפוי, דרכה מצטלבת עם רואן, רוצח סדרתי שהורג רוצחים סדרתיים גם הוא. כן, כן! 😂
כשהשניים האלה נפגשים, הם מגלים אחד בשני משהו שאף אחד מהם לא ציפה לו, חברות. סוף סוף מישהו שרואה אותם כמו שהם, ומבין אותם. 
וכך, הם מחליטים להפגש פעם בשנה למשחק תחרותי שבו הראשון שמצליח להרוג את הרוצח שנבחר, מנצח. אבל עם הזמן הם מבינים שמה שהם מרגישים אחד כלפי השני חזק יותר מסתם חברות…  האם האנשים האפלים האלו יכולים למצוא אהבה? 🖤

הספר הזה מקורי וכל כך משעשע! מי היה מאמין שהסופרת תמציא תת ז'אנר חדש?! רום-קום אפל. 🖤
אז כן, זה היה גרפי, אפל, יש בו לא מעט תיאורים מבעיתים, ויש בו סמאט… אבל זה בדיוק מה שגרם לי לרצות לקרוא את הספר הזה מלכתחילה!!! 😍😂
יש לספר רשימת טריגרים מכובדת ביותר, אבל מה שתפס לי את העין ברשימה, היה "קניבליזם מקרי" וגם "עוגיות וגלידת שמנת"… כאילו, מה לעזאזל?!?! 😂

אני לא חושבת שאי פעם קראתי רומן כזה, אני אפילו לא יודעת אם קיים עוד רומן רומנטי כזה!!! (דקסטר לא נחשב) והכי חשוב – האודיו היה מעולה! ג'ו ארדן במבטא אירי…? אוחחח! אני רוצה להירדם עם הקול שלו כל לילה בראש שלי!!! 🔥🔥🔥

אהבתי ממש את 70% הראשונים של הספר, אבל אז, העלילה הפכה לדיי מטופשת… אחרי כל המריבות המרהיבות שלהם כחברים, כשהם סוף סוף הפכו לזוג (כולל סצנה לוהטת בטירוף, במיוחד אם מקשיבים לאודיו 😉) הפוקוס עבר בעיקר למחשבות פנימיות על חוסר הביטחון שלהם בנוגע לקשר, וכל מה שהפך את הסיפור הזה לכל כך כייפי, הפך לבאנלי… 😬
אני מודה שחשבתי לתת 3 כוכבים, אבל החלטתי על 4 בגלל הרעיון הכל כך מקורי של העלילה.

לסיכום, בסך הכל זו הייתה חוויה משעשעת, כייפית, מפתיעה ומקורית. אני ממליצה עליו, בעיקר על גרסאת האודיו. רק תקראו את הטריגרים לפני! 🖤
