Billionaire Ford Grant leaves town to set up a recording studio in his small childhood town, when Rosie, his best friend's little sister (and big childhood crush) comes home for a surprise visit after she got fired. 🩷
Although the two haven't seen each other in nearly a decade, and fought constantly as teenagers, Ford can't help but offer her a job at his company. And if that's not enough, Ford's life gets even more complicated when a 12-year-old girl shows up at his doorstep, claiming to be his daughter.

While 'Billionaires' are not one of my favorite tropes, Ford was sweet and not at all arrogant like most book billionaires. I really liked that Ford was a nerd who grew up to be a sexy billionaire, and I liked that he didn't act like a jerk. Besides, 'It was always you' is one of my favorite tropes! 😍

So how would I describe my experience? The writing was good, the characters were cute, the smut was hot… but something was still missing. 😬

What didn't work for me was the chemistry between the characters, which was almost non-existent, but mostly, the single father thing.  This part was definitely original compared to similar books I've read and I loved that Cora behaved according to her age and was written in a realistic way, but… it was so unnecessary, didn't add to the plot and really didn't contribute to Ford's or Rosie's story… this whole thing felt like an addition designed to fill the pages (lots of pages). 😬

Overall, Wild Love was a fun vacation book. While it's not Elsie Silver's best book, I think it's a great introduction to the new series, and I'm definitely looking forward to the sequels. 🩷🩷🩷

המיליארדר פורד גרנט עוזב את העיר כדי להקים אולפן הקלטות בעיירת ילדותו הקטנה, כאשר רוזי, אחותו הקטנה של חברו הטוב (והקראש הגדול שלו) חוזרת הביתה לביקור מפתיע אחריי שפוטרה מעבודתה. 🩷
למרות שהשניים לא נפגשו כמעט עשור, ורבו ללא הרף כבני נוער, פורד לא יכול שלא להציע לה עבודה בחברה שלו. ואם זה לא מספיק, חייו של פורד מסתבכים עוד יותר כשילדה בת 12 מופיעה בפתח דלתו, וטוענת שהיא בתו.

אמנם 'מיליונרים' הוא לא אחד טרופים אהובים עליי, פורד היה מתוק ובכלל לא שחצן כמו רוב המיליונרים בספרים. אהבתי שפורד הוא חנון לשעבר שגדל למיליארדר סקסי, ואהבתי את זה שהוא לא התנהג כמו אידיוט. חוץ מזה, "זו תמיד היית את" זה אחד הטרופים האהובים עליי! 😍

אז איך אתאר את החוויה שלי? הכתיבה הייתה טובה, הדמויות היו חמודות, הסמאט היה לוהט… אבל משהו עדיין היה חסר לי. 😬

מה שפחות עבד לי הוא הכימיה בין הדמויות, שכמעט ולא הייתה קיימת, אבל בעיקר, עניין האבא היחיד. החלק הזה בהחלט היה מקורי בהשוואה לספרים דומים שקראתי ואהבתי שקורה התנהגה בהתאם לגילה ונכתבה בצורה מציאותית, אבל… זה פשוט היה מיותר, לא הוסיף לעלילה וממש לא תרם לסיפור של פורד או של רוזי… כל העניין הזה הרגיש לי כמו סתם תוספת שנועדה למלא דפים (הרבה דפיםםםם). 😬

בסך הכל, אהבה פראית היה ספר חופשה כייפי.
ולמרות שזה לא הספר הכי טוב של אלזי סילבר קראתי, אני חושבת שזו הקדמה נהדרת לסדרה החדשה, ואני בהחלט מחכה להמשכים. 🩷🩷🩷
