Roman writes her back anonymously, and so the two form a magical connection all the way to the battlefront. Will their love win? 💙

Guys, this book was AMAZING!!!! I definitely understand the hype it got… 💥
It was a beautiful urban magic love story with a wonderful slow burn, and a seasoning of an historical novel that unfolds in the shadow of war (I totally felt vibes of the Bronze Horseman 😉) with enemies to lovers and a fantasy world (which, in my opinion, was not developed enough in the first book, because for the life of me, until the end, I didn't exactly understand who fought who 😂)
And yet, I devoured this book and enjoyed it so much! The characters, the magical vibes, the letters, the banter, and the secrets… Wow!

As promised, I got all the answers regarding the gods and the war in the second book, but in my opinion, it somewhat took the place of the love story, so after the (brilliant!) first book, I was a bit disappointed. I enjoyed it – but not as much as I enjoyed the first book.  💙

All in all, if you like fantasy romances, this duet is definitely for you! However, in the first book, the fantasy aspect is more refined, so it will also suit those who are not big fans of this genre.  👏

בינתיים, אייריס בת ה-18 רק רוצה להגן על משפחתה, לכן היא מנסה לעשות הכל כדי לזכות בקידום בעיתון בו היא מתמחה. 🙏
אייריס כותבת מכתבים לאחיה אשר נעדר בחזית המלחמה במכונת כתיבה ישנה ומחליקה אותם מתחת לדלת הארון, שם הם נעלמים – ומגיעים הישר לידיו של רומן, היריב שלה על הקידום. רומן כותב לה בחזרה בעילום שם, וכך השניים יוצרים חיבור קסום כל הדרך אל חזית הקרב. האם האהבה שלהם תנצח? 💙

חבר'ה, הספר הזה פשוט מדהים!!!! אני בהחלט מבינה את ההייפ שהוא קיבל… 💥
זה היה סיפור האהבה מרגש עם קסם עירוני וסלואו ברן נפלא, עם תיבול של רומן הסטורי שמתפתח בצל מלחמה (לגמרי הרגשתי וויבים של פרש הברונזה 😉) עם יריבים לאוהבים ועולם פנטזיה (שלדעתי, לא היה מפותח מספיק בספר הראשון, כי בחיי שעד סופו לא בדיוק הבנתי מי נלחם במי 😂)
ועדיין, גמעתי אותו ונהניתי כל כך! הדמויות, האווירה הקסומה, המכתבים, הריבים והסודות… וואו!

ואכן כמובטח, בספר השני קיבלתי את כל התשובות בנוגע לאלים והמלחמה ביניהם, אבל לדעתי, זה קצת תפס את המקום של סיפור האהבה, ולכן אחרי הספר הראשון (והמעולה!!!) קצת התאכזבתי. נהניתי, אבל לא כמו שנהניתי מהספר הראשון. 💙

לסיכום, אם אתן אוהבות פנטזיה, הדואט הזה הוא בהחלט בשבילכן. ולמרות זאת, בספר הראשון פן הפנטזיה מעודן מאוד, לכן יתאים גם למי שפחות אוהבת את הז'אנר. 👏
