A stripper and a teacher – do I need to add more…? 😜
I was sure I would roll my eyes nonstop, but this book surprised me – Magic Mike, the literary version! 🎉💥💪

Robyn is an elementary school teacher. She had big plans for the future but had to compromise. Her boring life changes completely when one day she finds a thong in her laundry bag… A shimmering male thong… A thong that belongs to the neighbor from the apartment upstairs!
The handsome, charming, witty… stripper neighbor. 🕺

Fallon is not ashamed of being a stripper – on the contrary, he loves his job that led him to a comfortable life and allowed him to travel the world and make new experiences – the opposite of what he experienced as a child. While he is not ashamed, he absolutely hates the looks he gets, after people discovering what he does for a living. 😬

The connection between them is immediate, but he wants her so badly that he is in no rush to reveal what he does for a living, until it's too late. How will Robyn react to the fact that Fallon is a stripper? And will thanks to him she could finally take a risk and fulfill herself? 💥💪

📚 "you should come see one night.”
I’d be lying if I hadn’t considered it since the moment I found out. It would help me to understand his life. This life I’ve only ever seen on Vegas show ads and in Channing Tatum movies. 📚

So… I had a hard time connecting with Robyn, because even though she was fun, she was also very annoying (a teacher that lates for work almost every day – seriously, woman?! 🤦‍♀️😂) but Fallon's character definitely made up for it, he is full of self-confidence, sensitive, romantic, treated Robyn with respect and tried to help her fulfill her dreams. 👏

The book had hot sections, drama moments and it even made me laugh… despite that, I was very disappointed from the end. It felt like the author wrote the last episodes quickly just to finish them, because she had mountains of laundry to fold… and I hated that!!! 🤦‍♀️
It's a cute light read… but the ending ruined it for me.

הייתי בטוחה שאגלגל עיניים בלי סוף, אבל הספר הזה הצליח להפתיע – קבלו את המג'יק מייק בגרסה הספרותית! 🎉💥💪

רובין מורה בבית ספר יסודי. היו לה תוכניות גדולות לעתיד אך נאלצה להתפשר. החיים המשעממים שלה משתנים לחלוטין כאשר יום אחד היא מוצאת חוטיני מנצנץ בשק הכביסה שלה… חוטיני גברי מנצנץ… חוטיני ששייך לשכן מהדירה למעלה!
שכן חתיך, מקסים, שנון ו… חשפן. 🕺

פאלון לא מתבייש מכך שהוא חשפן – להפך, הוא אוהב את עבודתו שהובילה אותו לחיים נוחים ואפשרה לו לטייל בעולם ולצבור חוויות – ההיפך ממה שחווה בילדותו. ואמנם הוא לא מתבייש, אבל הוא בחלט שונא את המבטים שהוא מקבל, אחרי שמגלים מה הוא עושה למחייתו. 😬

החיבור ביניהם מיידי, אבל הוא כל כך רוצה אותה שהוא לא ממהר לגלות לה מה הוא עושה, עד שזה מאוחר מידי. איך רובין תקבל את העובדה שפאלון עובד כחשפן? והאם בזכותו היא סוף סוף תיקח סיכון ותגשים את עצמה? 💥💪

אז… היה לי קשה להתחבר לרובין, כי למרות שהייתה משעשעת היא גם הייתה מעצבנת (מורה שמאחרת לעבודה כמעט כל יום – ברצינות? שמישהו יפנה למשרד החינוך! 🤦‍♀️😂) אבל הדמות של פאלון בהחלט פיצתה על כך, הוא מלא בביטחון עצמי, רגיש,רומנטי, התייחס לרובין בכבוד וניסה לגרום לה להגשים את החלומות שלה. 👏

היו בספר קטעים לוהטים , רגעי דרמה ואפילו לא מעט צחוק… אבל התאכזבתי מאוד מהסוף. זה הרגיש כאילו הסופרת כתבה את כל הפרקים האחרונים במהירות שיא סתם כדי לסיים, כי היה לה הרים של כביסה לקפל… ואני שונאת שעושים את זה!!! 🤦‍♀️
לסיכום – ספר חמוד וקליל… אבל הסיום הרס לי.
