Wow, this book was a big surprise! 💥💥💥
It was an excellent thriller full of surprising twists that I totally did not see coming. The writing was flowing and intriguing, which will make you read the book in one sitting. I had so many great "oh shit" moments, which is exactly what I expect to feel when I read a thriller. Unusually, I finished the audio in just one day, and every time I had to take a break, I was waiting to get back to it again… 💙

The plot was fascinating and fast paced, full of twists and turns that had me trying to guess right up to the end… and hell, I didn't see THAT coming!!! 😱
So if you like quick and easy thrillers, Frieda McFadden is definitely a name you should remember. 👑

• I listened to the Audiobook, which was amazing. The narrator did a wonderful job, so much so that I was sure there were two different narrators. 😂

מילי היא אסירה לשעבר בתקופת מבחן, הנואשת למצוא עבודה ומקום לגור בו. לכן, כשהיא מקבלת הצעת מנינה ווינצ'סטר להיות עוזרת בית בביתם היפה, היא מאושרת. 💙
אך מהר מאוד, הבעיות מתחילות להיערם… כמו למשל, הדרישות המגוחכות של נינה ומצבי הרוח הלא צפויים שלה, ההתנהגות המוזרה של סיסיליה בת ה-9, האזהרות הלא ברורות מהגנן האיטלקי, הסודות והשקרים, המשיכה החזקה לבעלה של נינה, אנדרו… אבל בעיקר, העובדה שהדלת לחדרה בעליית הגג ננעלת רק מבחוץ. אז מה באמת קורה בבית הזה…?! 😱🗝

וואו, כמה שהופתעתי מהספר הזה! 💥💥💥
זה היה מותחן מעולה מלא בטוויסטים מפתיעים שלגמרי לא צפיתי אותם מגיעים. הכתיבה זורמת ומסקרנת, שתגרום לכם לקרוא את הספר בישיבה אחת. היו לי כל כך הרבה רגעי "אוי שיט" נהדרים, וזה בדיוק מה שאני מצפה להרגיש כשאני קוראת ספר מתח. שלא כהרגלי, סיימתי את האודיו ביום אחד בלבד, ובכל פעם שהייתי צריכה לעשות הפסקה, רק חיכיתי לחזור אליו שוב… 💙

העלילה מרתקת והתנהלה בקצב מהיר, מלאה בפיתולים שגרמו לי לנסות לנחש ממש עד הסוף… ולעזאזל, לא ראיתי את זה מגיע!!! 😱
אז אם אתם אוהבים ספרי מתח מהירים וקלים, פריידה מקפאדן היא בהחלט שם שאתם צריכים לזכור. 👑
