Since the twins were born, I don't accept ARCs, because I prefer to read at my own pace and time… But when the most anticipated book of the year comes out (releasing: June 27 🎉) I just couldn't resist myself.

It's a coming of age story, about forbidden love, longing and lots of angst. Pepper's writing is magical. The vivid images, depth and emotion captivated me in the first chapters. 💙
The story is written at a great pace and the dynamic between the characters is crazy… they came to life and I felt as of they were right in front of me, and all their struggles, fears and insecurities, became mine.
I lost myself in this book.

While reading, I got the Ribbon Duet vibes (those who know me, know that this is one of my favorite books), so if you are already familiar with Pepper's writing style, you know what to expect (it has a lot of elements that are identified with Pepper's writing). But if this is your first time, I'll just say that… YOU NEED THIS BOOK IN YOUR LIFE. 🙏
Gahhhh, I can't wait for the second part of the duet! 💙💥
PS – For all you Turkish drama series lovers, this book has so many love expressions in Turkish. 😂😉

• I listened to the Audiobook (advance copy for review), which was awesome. It definitely did justice to the story! I really enjoyed the two narrators who portrayed the characters well, and especially the fact that they both narrate all the chapters together (which is an experience in itself).

מאז שנולדו התאומים, אני לא מקבלת עותקים מוקדמים לסקירה, כי אני מעדיפה לקרוא בקצב ובזמן שלי… אבל כשהספר הכי מצופה של השנה יוצא (ב-27 ליוני 🎉), פשוט לא יכולתי להתאפק.
תודה פפר, על ששלחת לי את האודיו הנפלא הזה לסקירה… הציפייה בהחלט השתלמה! 👑
זה סיפור של התבגרות, אהבה אסורה, כמיהה והמון דרמות. הכתיבה של פפר קסומה. הדימויים שלה, העומק והרגש כבשו אותי כבר בפרקים הראשונים. 💙
הסיפור כתוב בקצב נהדר והדינמיקה בין הדמויות מטריפה… הם התעוררו לחיים והרגשתי כאילו היו ממש מולי. כל המאבקים, הפחדים וחוסר הביטחון שלהם, הפכו לשלי.

בזמן הקריאה, קיבלתי וויבים של דואט 'הנער והנערה' (ומי שמכירה אותי, יודעת שזה אחד הספרים האהובים עליי ביותר), אז אם אתם כבר מכירים את סגנון הכתיבה של פפר, אתם יודעים למה לצפות (יש בו המון אלמנטים חוזרים שמזוהים עם כתיבתה של פפר). אבל אם זו פעם ראשונה, רק אגיד ש… אתם צריכים את הספר הזה בחייכם. 🙏
בחיי, אני לא יכולה לחכות כבר לחלק השני של הדואט! 💙💥
נ ב – לאוהבות הדרמות התורכיות, יש המון ביטויי אהבה בתורכית בספר. 😂😉

• הקשבתי לספר באודיו באנגלית (עותק מוקדם לסקירה) – שהיה מעולה. ספר השמע בהחלט עושה צדק עם הסיפור! נהניתי מאוד משני הקריינים שגילמו היטב את הדמויות, ובמיוחד מהעובדה ששניהם מקריינים את כל הפרקים יחד (שזו חוויה בפני עצמה).
