Wait wait wait, WHAT THE WHAT?!?!?!
This book is fucking insane.
The hero is not a good guy.
The heroine is a freaking psychopath.
And the author…? She's the QUEEN OF MADNESS!!! 😈😈😈
I felt like I was reading a version of the movie "Mean Girls" on steroids. Roberts is the only author who can make me laugh out loud, cringe all over, heat up and feel sick… all in just one page!!!!! 😂
The plot jumps between past and present to give glimpse of what Bryce went through and how those experiences made her the crazy girl she is today. 🖤
This is not a regular love story and it will not suit everyone, so pay attention to the triggers – because the heroine is not a person you can identify with or even like… as she says: "I'm a murderer, rapist, evil schemer, and a proud slut." – but damn, she's a fascinating creature! 💥
📚 "They say that you will do just about anything for love, and for me, that is certainly true." 📚
I loved the madness, the surprising twists, the secrets, the fast pace and the original plot… Everything felt forbidden, immoral and dirty – pure taboo. 🖤
However, I didn't like that the physical relationship started when she was a minor… There were also some unexplained parts (for example, why did Elijah stay married to her mother, it doesn't seem like there was ever affection there…). Also, the names she gave her enemies were childish (and said so many times, it was hard to ignore): Bitchface, Duckface, Wartface, Cuntface. 🙈
Also, I won't go into details to avoid spoilers, but I thought thus book would end differently… 🤐
But what bothered me the most was that there were quite a few typos (like: "Don't be long. I have plans or us later.") 🙈
This book is twisted and morbid… disturbing and intriguing at the same time! 🖤💥
So if you like dark, original and very immoral taboo stories (stepfather romance, age gap, FF scenes and lots of smut with… a lot of people 😈) – I recommend this one. But if you like sweet and romantic? hell, RUN!!!!!!!! 😂😂😂

אבל אז, לפני יום ההולדתה ה-16, ברייס הפסיקה להיות הילדה הטובה, השקטה והביישנית שהייתה תמיד – ובמקום, התחמשה בסודות של כל מי שפגע בה, והשתמשה בהם כדי לקבל נקמה! 💥
ובנוגע לאביה החורג? יש לה תוכניות גם עבורו… 😈

הספר הזה פאקינג משוגע.
הגיבור הוא לא אדם טוב.
הגיבורה חתיכת פסיכופתית.
והסופרת…? היא מלכת המטורפות! 😈😈😈
הרגשתי שאני קוראת גרסה לסרט "ילדות רעות" על סטרואידים. רוברטס היא הסופרת היחידה שמצליחה לגרום לי לצחוק בקול רם, להרגיש קרינג' בכל הגוף, להתחמם בטירוף וגם לחוש בחילה… וכל זה רק בעמוד אחד!!!!! 😂
העלילה קופצת בין העבר להווה כדי לתת הצצה למה שברייס עברה, ואיך כל זה הפך אותה לבחורה המטורפת שהיא היום. 🖤
זה לא סיפור אהבה רגיל והוא לא יתאים לכולם, אז שימו לב לטריגרים – כי הגיבורה היא לא אדם שאפשר להזדהות איתו או אפילו לחבב אותו… כמו שהיא בעצמה אומרת: "I’m a murderer, rapist, evil schemer, and a proud slut." (אני רוצחת, אנסית, זוממת מרושעת וזנזונת גאה) – אבל לעזאזל, היא חתיכת ייצור מרתק! 💥

אהבתי את הטירוף, את הטוויסטים המפתיעים, הסודות, הקצב המהיר והעלילה המקורית… הכל הרגיש אסור, לא מוסרי ומלוכלך – טאבו טהור. 🖤
מה שכן, לא אהבתי שהקשר הפיזי התחיל כשהייתה קטינה… גם היו כמה חלקים לא מוסברים (למשל, למה אלייג'ה נשאר נשוי לאמא שלה, לא נראה שהייתה שם אי פעם חיבה…). בנוסף, כל השמות שהיא נתנה לאוייבים שלה היו ילדותיים ומטופשים (ונאמרו כל כך הרבה פעמים, שהיה קשה להתעלם): Bitchface, Duckface, Wartface, Cuntface. 🙈
כמו כן, לא אפרט מחשש לספויילרים, אבל חשבתי שהספר ייגמר אחרת… 🤐
אבל הכי הפריע לי שהיו לא מעט שגיאות דפוס (למשל: “Don’t be long. I have plans or us later.”) 🙈
הספר הזה מעוות וחולני… מטריד ומסקרן בו זמנית! 🖤💥
אז אם אתן אוהבות ספרי טאבו (אב חורג, פער גילאים, סצנות FF והרבה סקס עם… הרבה מאוד אנשים 😈) אפלים, מקוריים ומאוד לא מוסריים – אני ממליצה על הספר הזה. אבל אם אתן אוהבות מתוק ורומנטי? בחיי, תברחו!!!!!!!! 😂😂😂
• קראתי באנגלית, אבל הספר תורגם לעברית ע"י הוצאת "סקרלט".
וזה גם הזמן להגיד – שאפו על האומץ לתרגם ספר כל כך מטורלל!!! 🔤
