After all, what could go wrong? According to the stories she heard over the years, 42-year-old Damien Martinez is a self-centered asahole. He's not a thoughtful, funny, kind and insanely hot gentleman… right?! 🙈

I'm not a fan of Christmas books, they're usually pretty silly, but from the moment I read the blurb – I went to put on my pink pajamas, made hot chocolate, wore a Santa hat… and dived in. ✨️
And as I thought, this book was SO MUCH FUN! Heartwarming, funny, sweet, so freaking hot… and the hero? First time that he doesn't smell like the sun or Atlantic sand… he smells like fucking Armani! 😂 Hell, you can't go wrong with a hero named Damian!!! 🔥🔥🔥

What I didn't like is that the book is full of repetitive sayings and scenes. I also couldn't understand how Abby put up with Richard for 4 years without realizing he was using her? Like, how dumb can you be…? 🤦♀️
Also, there were parts (mainly with her sister) that I felt like I was missing something, as if this book was related to a book I haven't read… but above all, Damien was an amazing character, so it bothered me that during sex he called her names like "dirty whore". It didn't fit his personality, or Abby's sunshine and pink self. 🙄
Despite that, the resemblance to the movie "Illegally Blonde" (at least at first) was so cute and I could totally imagine this book becoming a blockbuster movie, which I would watch on a girls' night with my sisters (dressed in sparkly pink dresses of course). 😂✨️😍
So if you want to swoon, laugh and fall in love, this should be your next book! 💝

הרי מה כבר יכול להשתבש? לפי הסיפורים ששמעה כל השנים, דמיאן מרטינז בן ה-42 הוא חתיכת חרא שמרוכז בעצמו. הוא בטח לא ג'נטלמן מתחשב, מצחיק ולוהט בטירוף… נכון?! 🙈

אני לא חובבת של ספרי חג מולד, לרוב הם דיי טיפשיים, אבל מהרגע שקראתי את התקציר – הלכתי ללבוש פיג'מה וורודה, הכנתי שוקו חם, חבשתי כובע של סנטה… וצללתי פנימה. ✨️
וכמו שחשבתי, הספר הזה היה כל כך כייפי! מצחיק, מתוק, מחמם לב, לוהט בטירוף… והגיבור? פעם ראשונה שאין לו ריח של שמש או חול אטלנטי… יש לו ריח של פאקינג בושם ארמני! 😂 טוב נו, אי אפשר לטעות עם גיבור בשם דמיאן!!! 🔥🔥🔥

מה שלא אהבתי הוא שהספר מלא באמירות וסצנות שחוזרות על עצמן. גם לא הצלחתי להבין איך אבי סבלה את ריצ'רד במשך 4 שנים בלי להבין שהוא מנצל אותה? כאילו, כמה סתומה את יכולה להיות…? 🤦♀️
כמו כן, היו חלקים (בעיקר עם אחותה) שהרגשתי שאני מפספסת משהו, כאילו הספר קשור לספר אחר שלא קראתי… אבל בעיקר, דמיאן היה מדהים, לכן הפריע לי כשבמהלך הסקס הוא קרא לה בשמות כמו "dirty whore", זה לא התאים לאישיות שלו או לדמות מלאת האור הוורודה של אבי. 🙄
ולמרות זאת, הדימיון לסרט "לא רק בלונדינית" (לפחות בהתחלה) היה ממש מגניב ולגמרי יכולתי לדמיין את הספר הזה הופך לסרט שובר קופות, שהייתי צופה בו בערב בנות עם אחיותיי (לבושות בשמלות וורודות מנצנצות כמובן). 😂✨️😍
אז אם בא לכן לצחוק ולהתאהב זה צריך להיות הספר הבא שלכן! 💝
