לקריאת הסקירה בעברית – תגללו למטה!

At first, not everything made sense to me, but in the end all become clear (including some great "Oh Shit!" moments). 👏👏👏
The plot is full of secrets, lies, despair – but also hope, love and healing. 💙

Personally, the romance between Penn and Cora happened too quickly for me and wasn't so believable, but the secrets and revelations made me enjoy the ride. Plus, even though the first book had some slow parts or parts where nothing happened, I enjoyed it. Especially from the last two chapters, which shook things up and left me with my jaw on the floor. 😱

📚 “The world is an ugly place, Cora. It’s filled with more sinners than saints. More hate than love. More chaos than kindness. And that’s not because the world is filled with bad people. It’s because the good ones stay silent.” 📚

The second book, however, wasn't good enough in my opinion. Unlike the first one, it was too sweet and unsuitable for the situation and characters… I also felt that the idea of the conflict was quite big and serious, and the solution was very simple, fast and too easy for what all the characters went through, and it was quite disappointing for me. 😬

I listened to the audio version (which were great. I enjoyed the female narrator who did a great job, but the male narrator's voice sounded like the hero's dad and did not quite fit his character in my opinion. 🙈).

קורה גררו חיה בתוך סיוט, החיים שלה אומללים ללא אפשרות לברוח. וגם אם הייתה רוצה לברוח, היא לא יכולה – יותר מידי אנשים סומכים עליה… 💙
שניהם נפגשים ויש להם חיבור מיידי. נראה שהם רוצים את אותם הדברים, אבל מה אמת ומה שקר…? 💥💥💥

בהתחלה, לא הכל היה לי הגיוני, אבל בסופו של דבר, הכל מתאחד והמניעים משני הצדדים הופכים ברורים (כולל כמה רגעים נהדרים של "הו שיט!"). 👏👏👏
העלילה מלאה בסודות, שקרים, ייאוש – אבל גם תקווה, אהבה וריפוי. 💙

באופן אישי, הרומנטיקה בין פן וקורה התרחשה מהר מידי עבורי ולא הייתה כל כך אמינה, אבל הסודות והגילויים גרמו לי ליהנות מהמסע. בנוסף, למרות שבספר הראשון היו כמה חלקים איטיים או חלקים בהם כלום לא קרה, נהניתי ממנו. במיוחד משני הפרקים האחרונים, אשר הרעידו את העניינים והשאירו אותי עם הלסת על הרצפה. 😱

הספר השני לעומת זאת, היה פחות טוב לדעתי. שלא כמו הספר הראשון, הוא היה מתוק מידי ולא התאים לסיטואציה ולדמויות… הרגשתי גם שהקונפליקט בעלילה היה די גדול ורציני, אבל הפתרון שלו היה פשוט, מהיר וקל מדי בשביל מה שכל הדמויות עברו במשך הדואט, וזה היה די מאכזב עבורי. 😬

הספר השני: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

• ‏הדואט תורגם לעברית ע"י הוצאת "ספרות שנוגעת" וזמין לרכישה. 🔤
• הקשבתי לספרים באודיו באנגלית (שהיו מעולים, אבל נהניתי יותר מהקריינית הנשית שעשתה עבודה מצויינת. לעומתה, הקריין הגברי נשמע כמו אבא של הגיבור ולא כל כך התאים לדמות שלו 🙈).
