Ezekiel Daniel – or in short Zick, intrigued me in the first book. He's an idiot with severe anxiety of abandonment that makes him act like a 'dosh' to everyone. 😈
He's full of anger at his parents, friends and the whole world… he may have had all the material things a kid could dream of, but he never got what he really wanted – attention, time and love. 💔

Zick is cruelly honest, grumpy and everyone walks on egg shells next to him. But beneath his cold facade, he has a huge heart and wants to love and be loved – even if he doesn't know it yet… 💜💜💜

📚 “Everyone has a choice.” And no one chooses me. 📚

Violet de Luca is a sweet and quiet girl who works in the library as a private tutor. Outwardly submissive and shy, but she has a lot of passion and power. 💪
She too was abandoned, her parents died when she was young and since Violet has developed stuttering. I liked that it was not presented as a detective, but made me like her even more. 💜
She is the complete opposite of Zick, but you know what they say… opposites attract! 🔥

Zick's coach forces him to take private lessons in the library and participate in the 'Big Brother' project and Zick is really unhappy… but as they spend more time together, Violet sees in him something no one else sees and manages to break all his defenses. 💣💥

📚 I used to be a hard ass, and now I'm talking about feelings and all that other bullshit. Soon she's going to have me holding babies and volunteering with old people, I just fucking know it. 📚

What I didn't like, is a breakdown of irrelevant things… For example, I did not want to know about the chocolate making process – how many spoons of powder was in the glass or how long it was in the microwave. 🤦‍♀️😂

Of course here too, each chapter opens with a sentence about the characters that made me fall in love with them even more… 💜
This book is light and romantic, witty and fun! No wonder I finished it so fast!!! 👏
I loved the rude and funny jokes… I loved the vulnerability Zick revealed when they were alone… I loved how Violet made him blush l… and I loved most that there were no sparks right from the start, but a roller coaster of emotions. 😊

It was a great book (much better than the first one!) that definitely left me with a taste for more.
Highly recommend! 👑💜

יחזקאל (גאד דאמט, כן!!! 😂) דניאל -או בקיצור זיק, סקרן אותי כבר מהספר הראשון. הוא אידיוט עם חרדת נטישה חמורה שהופכת אותו ל'דוש' כלפי כולם. 😈
מלא בכעסים על הוריו, על חבריו ועל העולם כולו… אולי היו לו את כל הדברים החומריים שילד יכול לחלום עליהם, אבל הוא לא קיבל את מה שבאמת רצה- תשומת לב, זמן ואהבה. 💔

זיק כנה בצורה אכזרית, מצוברח וכולם הולכים לידו על ביצים, אפילו חבריו הקרובים מנבחרת ההיאבקות. אך מתחת לחזות הקרה, הוא בחור עם לב ענק שרוצה לאהוב ולהיות נאהב – גם אם הוא לא יודע את זה עדיין… 💜💜💜

ויולט דה לוקה היא בחורה מתוקה ושקטה העובדת בספרייה כמורה פרטית. מבחוץ כנועה וביישנית, אבל יש בה המון תשוקה וכוח. 💪
גם היא ננטשה, הוריה נפטרו כשהייתה צעירה ומאז ויולט פיתחה גמגום. אהבתי שהתכונה הזו לא הוצגה כגנאי, אלא גרמה לי לחבב אותה אפילו יותר. 💜
היא ההפך הגמור מזיק, אבל אתם יודעים מה אומרים… הפכים נמשכים! 🔥

המאמן של זיק מכריח אותו לקבל שיעורים פרטיים בספרייה ולהשתתף בפרויקט 'אח גדול' ולחנוך ילד וזיק ממש לא מרוצה… אך ככל שהם מבלים יותר זמן יחד, ויולט רואה בו משהו שאף אחד אחר לא רואה ומצליחה לשבור את כל ההגנות שלו. 💣💥

מה שפחות אהבתי, הוא פירוט של דברים לא רלוונטיים… לא הייתי צריכה (או רוצה) לדעת על תהליך הכנת שוקו למשל – כמה כפיות אבקה זיק שם בכוס או כמה זמן היא הייתה בתוך הפקינג מיקרוגל (ולמה לעזאזל אמריקנים מכינים תה ושוקו במיקרוגל?!) 🤦‍♀️😂

כמובן שגם פה, כל פרק נפתח במשפט מקדים שגרם לי להתאהב בדמויות עוד יותר… 💜
הספר הזה קליל ורומנטי, שנון וכיפי! לא פלא שסיימתי אותו כל כך מהר!!! 👏
אהבתי את הבדיחות הגסות והמצחיקות… אהבתי את הפגיעות שזיק חשף כשהיו לבדם… אהבתי איך ויולט גרמה לו להסמיק…. והכי אהבתי שלא היו ניצוצות ישר מההתחלה, אלא רכבת הרים של רגשות. 😊

זה היה ספר מעולה (הרבה יותר מהראשון!) שבהחלט השאיר בי טעם של עוד.
