לקריאת הסקירה בעברית – תגללו למטה!

Jackson “The Beast” Boudreaux is an arrogant billionaire and heir to the "Boudreaux Bourbon" empire. His dark past left him emotionally broken, and like his nickname, he lives isolated like a beast in his castle ("beauty and the beast" anyone?) But beneath the layers and temper, hides a vulnerable person. 😍

Jackson is willing to give love up, until he meets the cheeky vibrant Bianca Hardwick, chef and owner of a new restaurant. Bianca does not pursue money or status – all that wants is to make her mother proud. The dishes on her menu are based Boudreaux's bourbon and when Jackson shows up at the restaurant and behaves rudely to everyone, sparks fly between the two, and not in a romantic way… but when Jackson realizes he needs to get married to secure his inheritance, he decides Bianca is the perfect woman. 💍🙏

Slowly, the connection between them develops into more than just business and they find it difficult to distinguish between truth and fraud… Will they be able to find a perfect ending to their story, or will they BURN? 🥃

I enjoyed this book all over again! it's a light, witty read – the sexual tension? you can cut it with a kitchen knife – and most importantly – I CAN NOT wait to try some of the recipes! 👏👏👏
The book was fun, but like every romantic comedy, it was also completely predictable and full of clichés… I first read the book in Hebrew a few years ago and now I heard the audio version – which was great – but without a doubt my favorite in the series is still "Melt for You". 😍

ג'קסון "החיה" בודרו הוא ביליונר שחצן ויורש של אימפריית "בודרו בורבון". עברו האפל הותיר אותו שבור רגשית, וכמו כינויו, הוא מתבודד כ"חיה" באחוזתו (מישהו אמר "היפה והחיה" ולא קיבל?) אבל מתחת לשכבות ומזגו החם, מסתתר אדם פגיע לחלוטין. 😍

ג'קסון מוכן לוותר על אהבה, עד שהוא פוגש את ביאנקה הארדוויק החוצפנית והתוססת, השף והבעלים של מסעדה חדשה. ביאנקה לא רודפת אחרי כסף או מעמד – כל מה שחשוב לה זה להפוך את אימא שלה לגאה. המנות בתפריט שלה מבוססות על הבורבון של חברת בורדו וכאשר ג'קסון מופיע במסעדה ומתנהג בגסות לכל הצוות, ניצוצות עפים ביניהם, ולא בקטע רומנטי… אבל כשג’קסון מבין שהוא צריך להתחתן כדי להבטיח לעצמו את הירושה, הוא מחליט שביאנקה היא זו שתתאים לתפקיד. 💍🙏

לאט לאט הקשר ביניהם מתפתח ליותר מסתם עסקי והם מתקשים להבחין בין האמת להצגה…. האם הם יצליחו למצוא סוף מושלם לסיפור ביניהם, או שזה רק "מתכון לאסון"? 🥃

נהניתי מהספר הזה שוב! הוא קליל, שנון וכיפי. והמתח המיני? אפשר היה לחתוך אותו עם סכין מטבח – והכי חשוב – אני לא יכולה לחכות כבר לנסות חלק מהמתכונים מהספר! 👏👏👏
מה שכן, הספר אמנם מהנה, אבל בהתאם לקומדיה רומנטית, הוא גם צפוי לחלוטין ומלא בקלישאות… את הספר קראתי לראשונה בעברית לפני כמה שנים ועכשיו שמעתי אותו באודיו – שהיה מעולה – אבל ללא ספק המועדף עליי בסדרה הוא עדיין "רוגבי ואומנות הפיתוי". 😍
