18 years old Mateo and Rufus each receive a phone call just after midnight from Death-Cast, informing them that they will, unfortunately, die that day. Each looking for companionship in their final day of life, Mateo and Rufus find each other and set out to have one final adventure together before their time is up. 💙

What a clever book, full of insights! Yes, it was also a bit (no, a lot 😂) depressing (the spoiler is in the name of the book 🤷‍♀️) but it also evoked so many thoughts and made me want to take advantage and exhaust every day… because in real life there is no one that says when we will die (thank God for that!!! 😂) so you can not know when will your last day be, with whom will you spend it and how everyone will remember you…. 💙

📚 "Maybe it’s better to have gotten it right and been happy for one day instead of living a lifetime of wrongs." 📚

Although I was left with some unresolved questions, I loved all the emotions it made me feel, I loved that the MM story is written subtly according to the book genre (YA), I loved the writing style and all the other perspectives that added interest… and most of all I loved that even though I knew how the book would end – I remained captive until the end. 💙💙💙

I listened to the audio version which was AMAZING! The narrators' choices matched the characters perfectly and the choice to add another narrator for the rest of the POV's was ingenious. Highly recommend the audio! 👏

מתיאו ורופוס בני ה-18 מקבלים כל אחד שיחת טלפון קצת אחרי חצות מתחזית-מוות, המודיע להם שלמרבה הצער, הם ימותו באותו היום. לאחר שחיפשו עם מי לבלות את יומם אחרון, מתאו ורופוס מוצאים זה את זה ויוצאים להרפתקה אחרונה ביחד, לפני שיגמר זמנם. 💙

איזה ספר חכם, מלא תובנות ומסרים! נכון, הוא אמנם גם קצת (טוב, הרבה 😂) מדכא (הספויילר מופיע בשם הספר 🤷‍♀️) אבל הוא גם מעורר מחשבה ורצון לנצל ולמצות כל יום ויום… כי בחיים האמיתיים אין שיחה שתתריע מראש מתי נמות (תודה לאל על זה!!!! 😂) לכן אי אפשר לדעת מתי יהיה היום האחרון שלנו, עם מי נבלה אותו ואיך יזכרו אותנו…. 💙

למרות שנשארו קצוות פתוחים בעלילה, אהבתי את כל הרגשות שהוא גרם לי להרגיש, אהבתי שהסיפור הוא MM שכתוב בצורה עדינה ומעודנת בהתאם לספר YA, אהבתי את סגנון הכתיבה וכל זוויות הראייה שהוסיפו עניין… והכי אהבתי שלמרות שידעתי את איך הספר ייגמר – נשארתי שבוייה עד הסוף. 💙💙💙

• ‏הספר תורגם ע"י הוצאת כנרת זמורה-דביר וזמין לקריאה בעברית. 🔤
• הקשבתי לספר באודיו באנגלית, שהיה מדהים! בחירות הקריינים התאימו בדיוק לדמויות והבחירה להוסיף קריינית נוספת בשביל שאר זוויות הראייה הייתה גאונית. ממליצה על האודיו בחום! 👏
