לקריאת הפוסט בעברית – תגללו למטה!
It's nothing new that I think Jewel is an amazing author – and again, she managed to write a book with deep and witty dialogues, round characters and despite the tragic background story – there were also quite a few humorous moments (the banters between them made me laugh out loud). 💛
📚 “Feelings are our greatest compass. They will always lead you to the truth.” 📚
But …… I must point out that the love story itself did not knock me off my feet. It was pretty banal and did not innovate anything to me (the "we do not tolerate each other but are attracted to each other – and BOOM, we fell in love!" Pattern 🙄) and at some point I felt the crises were just over dramatic and unfortunately, there were a lot of parts of the story that just… bored me. 🙈
📚 "Those who love you the most, will cherish what you cherish. They’ll nurture what makes you—you." 📚
Make no mistake, the book was not bad, but I think Jewel has better books. 😬
If you want to read an "enemies to lovers" story about dealing with loss that combines moving and amusing moments – with a serious and angry hero and a crazy heroin who shakes his world upside down… I recommend this book! 💛

זה לא חדש שאני חושבת שג'ול היא סופרת מדהימה – וגם הפעם היא הצליחה לכתוב ספר עם דיאלוגים עמוקים ושנונים, דמויות עגולות ולמרות סיפור הרקע הטרגי – היו גם לא מעט רגעי הומור (ההתנגחויות ביניהם גרמו לי לצחוק בקול) 💛

אבל…… אני חייבת לציין שסיפור האהבה עצמו לא הפיל אותי מהרגליים. הוא היה דיי באנלי ולא חידש לי כלום (תבנית ה- "אנחנו לא סובלים אחד את השני אבל נמשכים זה לזה – ובום התאהבנו!" 🙄) ובאיזשהו שלב הרגשתי שהמשברים היו סתם אובר דרמטיים ולצערי, היו המון חלקים בסיפור שפשוט… שיעממו אותי. 🙈

שלא תטעו, הספר לא היה רע, אבל לדעתי יש לג'ול ספרים מוצלחים יותר. 😬
אם בא לכם לקרוא סיפור של "מאויבים לאוהבים" על התמודדות עם משברים ואובדן שמשלב בתוכו רגעים מרגשים וגם משעשעים – עם דמות גברית רצינית וכעוסה ודמות נשית מטורללת שהופכת את עולמו… ממליצה לכן על הספר הזה! 💛
