לקריאת הסקירה בעברית – תגללו למטה!
Four years after the horrific tragedy she experienced, Zoe starts again in a new city and tries (unsuccessfully) with the help of her psychologist, to make a social life for herself and reconnect with people. 🙏
She finds a job in a café and joins a reading club – but her life really changes after she meets Tripp. 🤍
Will he be the one to give her the strength to overcome her past? Will she be able to live again instead of just existing…? 😱
📚 “You're the loudest thing I've ever seen, and I want to hear it all.” 📚
It's a beautiful story about healing and overcoming the past – it has a lot of pain, but also a lot of love… and although this subject is not easy to read, it was not too dramatic or depressing. 🤍
I loved that the writing was believable about Zoe's distress: her distrust of everyone and the need to hide from the world… I loved her book club friends who were a great support system… I really loved Zoe's strength, even when she did not think she was strong – but you could see it in everything she did… but most of all, I LOVED Tripp's character – he's an amazing hero – patient, sensitive, compassionate and not afraid to show his feelings. 😍👑
However, the beginning was very slow, so it took me a while to connect to the story. Plus, it had too many internal dialogues that repeated themselves and made me skip a few paragraphs. 😬

If you like empowering men and strong women, you should meet Zoe and Tripp… If you like stories with depth, emotion and twists (even though I guessed it really fast) – I recommend this book. 🤍🤍🤍

זה סיפור יפהפה על ריפוי והתגברות – יש בו המון כאב, אבל גם המון אהבה… ולמרות שהנושא שלו קשה לקריאה, הוא לא היה דרמטי או מדכא מידי. 🤍
אהבתי שהכתיבה הייתה אמינה בנוגע למצוקה של זואי: חוסר האמון שלה בכולם והצורך להסתתר מהעולם… אהבתי את חבריה למועדון הספרים שהיו מערכת תמיכה נהדרת… אהבתי מאוד את כוחה של זואי, גם כשהיא לא חשבה בעצמה שהיא חזקה – אבל ראו זאת בכל מה שעשתה… אבל בעיקר, אהבתי את הדמות של טריפ – גיבור מדהים – סבלני, רגיש ולא מפחד להראות את רגשותיו. 😍👑
מה שכן, ההתחלה הייתה מאוד איטית לטעמי, אז לקח לי זמן להתחבר לסיפור. בנוסף, היו בו יותר מדי דיאלוגים פנימיים שחזרו על עצמם וגרמו לי לדלג על כמה פסקאות. 😬
