Although the writing was good, I felt like there were too many dramas, events and tragedies in this story – which made the plot a little messy and left me with lots of questions about unresolved parts. 🙈
Plus, after what they both went through I expected them to take more time for themselves and not jump right into a new relationship (especially her!) – but it all happened too fast for my liking (less than 3 months). 😬

Still, this book is a journey of self-discovery, forgiveness and love – and the plot addresses super sensitive issues – domestic violence, infertility, death of parents, divorce, loss of a child… and everything was handled by the author in a sensitive, respectful and interesting way. 💛

Overall I enjoyed the story and Kristen's writing was great. 😍😍😍

קול בורח מעברו אך עדיין נאחז ברגשות האשמה שלו. הוא עובר לגור בבית האורחים של אחותו הגדולה – שהיא גם החברה הכי טובה של קאלי. קול נחוש להמשיך ולהאשים את עצמו ולעולם לא להתאהב שוב או לערב את ליבו, אבל לאחר שפגש בקאלי, הוא לא יכול להתעלם מהחשדות שלו בנוגע למה שקורה בבית השכן… והופך למקלט הבטוח שלה. 💛

הם שתי נשמות שבורות שנמשכו אחד לשני בגלל כאב ועצב – אבל האם השדים שלהם יסכנו את אהבתם? 😱

למרות שהכתיבה הייתה טובה, הרגשתי שהיו בסיפור יותר מידי אלמנטים, דרמות, אירועים וטרגדיות – מה שהפך את העלילה למבולגנת והשאיר אותי עם המון סימני שאלה על חלקים לא פתורים. 🙈
בנוסף, אחרי מה ששניהם עברו ציפיתי שייקחו קצת זמן כדי למצוא את עצמם ולא יקפצו ישר לתוך קשר חדש (במיוחד היא!) – אבל הכל קרה מהר מידי לטעמי (פחות מ-3 חודשים). 😬

ולמרות זאת, הספר הזה הוא מסע של גילוי עצמי, סליחה ואהבה – והעלילה מתייחסת לנושאים סופר קשים – קשר אלים, הפלות, מוות של הורים, בגידות, גירושים, איבוד ילד… הכל טופל ע"י הסופרת בצורה רגישה, מכבדת ומעניינת. 💛

בסך הכל נהניתי מהסיפור והכתיבה של קריסטן הצליחה לכבוש אותי. 😍😍😍
