Lachlan breaks Quinn's walls, helps her build her faith (in men and herself) – and makes her see herself… through his eyes. 😭❤👀

📚 “You’re mine, and I’m yours, and whatever the fuck you need from me to understand that, I’ll always give you." 📚

Although the first chapter was quite clichéd (as Quinn said herself) the plot definitely develops. There was a lot of humor and steamy moments – but despite the lightness, there was lots of depth too! 💪
However, Quinn's reluctance to start a new relationship, after all she's been through, was believable, especially when it comes to a guy much younger than her – but after a while I was kind of exhausted about her insecurity. Plus, sometimes Kinsley, Quinn's daughter, did and said things that were too mature for her age that made me roll my eyes. 😬

So if you want to read a fun book that proves that love is not just about the outside beauty – with age gap, a single mother and an amazing tattooed man – THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU! ❤❤❤
This may be my first Nikki Ash's book, but I'm totally going to look for more! 👑

כאשר לאכלן פוגש את קווין, אחותו של הבוס שלו, הוא מהופנט מיופייה וחוצפתה אבל קווין מרחיקה אותו – וכך, מה שמתחיל כמשחק חתול ועכבר, הופך להרבה יותר. לאכלן שובר את קירותיה של קווין, עוזר לה לבנות את אמונה (בגברים ובעצמה) – וגורם לה לראות את עצמה… דרך העיניים שלו. 😭❤👀

אמנם הפרק הראשון היה דיי קלישאתי (כמו שקווין אמרה בעצמה) אבל בהמשך העלילה בהחלט מתפתחת. יש פה המון הומור ורגעים לוהטים – אך למרות הקלילות, גם עומק ומסרים לחיים! 💪
מה שכן, הההיסוס של קווין להיכנס למערכת יחסים חדשה אחרי כל מה שעברה הייתה אמינה, במיוחד כשמדובר על בחור צעיר ממנה בהרבה – אבל היה איזשהו שלב שקצת מיציתי את חוסר הביטחון הזה. בנוסף, לפעמים קינגסלי, הבת של קווין, התנהגה ודיברה בצורה בוגרת מידי לגילה שגרמה לי לגלגל עיניים. 😬

אז אם בא לכן לקרוא ספר קליל וכייפי שמוכיח כי אהבה לא קשורה רק ליופי חיצוני – עם פער גילאים הפוך, אם חד הורית וגבר מקועקע מדהים – זה בדיוק הספר בשבילכם! ❤❤❤
זה הספר הראשון של ניקי אש שקראתי, אבל אני לגמרי הולכת לחפש לי עכשיו עוד! 👑
